[English version below] W poniedziałek 9 lutego miały miejsce pierwsze warsztaty dla doktorantów z cyklu „Culture – Image – Power”. Pierwszym prelegentem, który zechciał podzielić się nami swoimi perspektywami badawczymi był Palmo Tavernese, doktorant z Uniwersytetu w Macerata (Włochy). Referat wygłoszony przez naszego gościa miał następujący tytuł: „Rehabilitation of Prisoners. A comparative study of the Italian prison system and the Polish prison system”. Uczestnicy warsztatów mieli okazję zapoznać się z badaniami, które dotyczą grafologii, kryminalistyki oraz psychoanalizy. Palmo w niezwykle intersujący sposób przybliżył nam swoje zainteresowania badawcze oraz refleksje na temat włoskiego i polskiego systemu więziennictwa.
Przed warsztatami uczestnicy mieli okazję lepiej się poznać oraz przedstawić swoje zainteresowania badawcze. W warsztatach uczestniczyli zarówno wykładowcy, doktoranci oraz studenci. Serdeczne podziękowania należą się dr Patrycji Neumann, która pomagała w sprawach związanych z tłumaczeniem. Dziękujemy także dr. Robertowi Freiowi z Instytutu Socjologii, który towarzyszył nam podczas spotkania.

On Monday, February 9th, the first workshop for doctoral students in the "Culture – Image – Power" series took place. The first speaker to share his research perspectives was Palmo Tavernese, a doctoral candidate from the University of Macerata (Italy). Palmo's paper was titled: "Rehabilitation of Prisoners. A comparative study of the Italian prison system and the Polish prison system." Workshop participants had the opportunity to learn about research in graphology, cryminology, and psychoanalysis. Palmo provided an engaging insight into his research interests and reflections on the Italian and Polish prison systems.
Before the workshop, participants had the opportunity to get to know each other better and present their research interests. Lecturers, doctoral students, and students participated in the workshop. Sincere thanks go to Dr. Patrycja Neumann, who assisted with translations. We also thank Dr. Robert Frei from the Institute of Sociology, who accompanied us during the meeting.
